Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck

From 1 Day at £399 + VAT per day for 3 persons

The counter balance lift truck is one of the most commonly used forklift trucks in all different environments. These trucks have the fork at the front of the truck with no ‘arms’ the extend it, so drivers need to be accurate and drive the truck right up to the load.

These trucks are used very commonly in warehouses and factories and are often the first point of call for anyone wishing to get into learning how to drive a forklift truck for their job. Anyone driving a forklift truck of any kind will need to continually update their training to ensure they are not only complying with industry policies and procedures but also the Health and Safety at Work Act.

Who will benefit from this course?

This course will benefit anyone looking for a refresher in counter balance and any employers who would like to update training for anyone in their workforce with an included practical examination. The course is to the Road Transport Industry Training Board standards, and is available to anyone over school leaving age and of the necessary degree learning ability to complete the course. The candidate will also need a reasonable degree of physical fitness to comply with HSG6 guidelines.

Although many forklift drivers drive the trucks every day as part of their working role, it is easy to pick up bad habits and become complacent, much like it is with the everyday driving of cars. Courses like these can ensure your staff team are always up to date with best working practice within the industry.
